Loreen made history in Eurovision by being the first woman to win 2 times
Loreen was a big heavy opponent in the Eurovision grand final and the other competitors knew that. Something that may have helped her succeed again was the fact that she already won the award in the music ceremony in 2012 in Baku, Azerbaidzhan.
Although a competitor wins Eurovision, there is no limit of times to compete in the contest. Sweden and Finland were the last countries to confirm their participants.
Loreen created a stunning on-screen performance, which captivated 160 million viewers, second BBC numbers. The show with pyrotechnics, smoke machines, incredible staging and outstanding vocals was impressive.
Next year, Eurovision will go to Scandinavia. Sweden is on an equal footing with Ireland, both having received 7 editions each, the largest of the competition. The Scandinavian country receives Eurovision 50 years after ABBA's victory, which launched them to international stardom.
