July 4, US Independence Day Celebrated Around The World

July 4th is the most important holiday in the US, as it marks the country's Independence Day. On this special day, the Americans celebrate the signing of the 1776 Declaration of Independence from British rule.

Celebrations include parades, fireworks, barbeques and cultural events, from east to west. New York has the famous fireworks show on the Hudson River and Washington D.C. the parades and events at the National Mall.

Although it is an American holiday, this day is celebrated in other countries with a historical connection with the US, such as the Philippines, where various events take place. In addition, the celebrations are celebrated by many Americans who live abroad.
