Ryan Reynolds' coach discloses the actor's diet
Ryan Reynolds has a nutritious diet and trains regularly to maintain good physical shape. Don Saladino trained Reynolds for 14 years.
Saladin revealed that the actor is very focussed on his diet, but that he does not restrict any kind of food or calories. "He's not starving," Saladin said. "Ryan is eating, he's refuelling his body."
To have a good physical appearance it is necessary to eat well and train hard, but there are other factors to take into account, such as genetics, experience and nutrition. The actor maintains a good physical shape throughout the year and has many years of gym above.
Ryan Reynolds eats every three to four hours, preferably consuming oats, protein powder, salmon, vegetables, sweet potatoes and chicken.
"He's putting good lean proteins in his body," Saladin said. "He has vegetables entering his body because they are fibrous and have micronutrients, and he has slow-burning carbohydrates, such as oats and sweet potatoes, which are also fibrous."
"He can't run out of carbohydrates and expect to be a father and work in his business and then film for 14 hours a day," Saladin said. "That doesn't happen. He is one of the busIest human beings I have ever met."
