"Murph Challenge": The Almost Impossible Challenge Of The Owner Of Facebook, Instagram And WhatsApp

More and more people connected to the world of technology are losing the stereotype of "geek" and Mark Zuckerberg, the owner of three of the world's largest social platforms (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp), completed the Murph Challenge, an extreme physical exercise challenge.

The Murph Challenge is a tribute to U.S. Navy officer Michael P. Murphy, death in combat in Afghanistan in 2005. This challenge is practised annually on the U.S. national holiday, Memorial Day. This exercise consists of running 1.6 kilometres, completing 100 lifts, 200 push-ups and 300 squats, and ending with a 1.6-kilometre run. To all this, added an added difficulty: a vest of almost 10 kilos dressed.

Mark Zuckerberg, the 39-year-old businessman, managed to successfully complete this exercise in 39 minutes and 58 seconds. "I try to do the Murph Challenge with the girls every year on Memorial Day as a tradition to honour those who defend us," Zuckerberg wrote on Facebook, adding: "The girls made a Murph room (without weights) in 15 minutes!"

“It's inspiring to see someone so well known challenge themselves in a new arena,” wrote Camarillo, Zuckerberg's coach, quoted in The Telegraph.
