Sam Asghari's Fitness And Diet Routine

South African magazine GQ was in conversation with actor and fitness guru Sam Asghari and revealed everything about the gym routine, the diet plan and his workouts, including those that are done with his companion Britney Spears.

"Sports and fitness have always been a big part of my life. Growing up, I played all the sports you can imagine, from gymnastics to soccer. I was a big fan of football before my adolescence," he begins by revealing the athlete in the interview.

Sam has always been a lover of sports, having practised several modalities as revealed. There was a time in his life that he decided to move to the United States, however never forgetting his passion: "When I moved to the United States, I started playing football - both in high school and college - because of the size of my body, and I had a lot of fun doing it."

Like all athletes, when they are active the muscle mass is one, but when they stop being so active, the body shows signs and that's exactly what happened: "After I stopped football in college, I kept my high-calorie diet and ended up gaining a lot of weight, which made me very unhealthy." This weight gain gave him the necessary motivation to learn more about nutrition: "I decided to study personal training and learn about nutrition and proper exercise. Eventually, I applied my studies to my life and changed my entire lifestyle - and I mean, everything. I lost more than 100 pounds,” he revealed.

This change in his life was accompanied by other people who were close to him and in a way he began to change lives even if he had this initial goal: "I began to impact other people who witnessed me changing my life. In other words, I motivated other people to do the same. When I found out that my best friend had also made a change, it really made me happy, so I started sharing my fitness knowledge with social media content to possibly help others achieve their lifestyle goals.”

"Most people need to remember that the reason we exercise is to be healthy - not only physically, but mentally. I believe that general well-being is the new evolution of fitness, and this means finding a plan, gym and coach that encourages you to feel comfortable with your pace of progress and not just focussed on physical results," says Sam.

About his fitness life he reveals that “currently, I'm working out 6 days a week and really keeping myself on top of my cardio, since I'm preparing for an actor role. Nutrition is always my most important regimen. I usually have moderate carbohydrates, high fats, high proteins," he reveals, mentioning that Cristiano Ronaldo and Dwayne Johnson are his great inspirations in fitness life.

"She inspires me on many levels when it comes to fitness, including doing fun things we like to do, including dancing," he reveals about her companion, the pop music princess, Britney Spears.
