The celebrities who refused the invitation to the coronation of King Charles III

The coronation ceremony of King Charles III had 2,000 guests, with an estimated cost of 1.57 million pounds, that is, almost 2 million dollars. The ceremony lasted a shorter duration than Queen Elizabeth's 70 years ago.

The British coronation parties will continue for the weekend out, with Monday, May 8 a national holiday. The event is attended by the judges of the successful program "American Idol", Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, the band Take That, singer Freya Ridings, Andrea Bocelli, Sir Bryn Terfel, Alexis Ffrench, Nicole Sherzinger, Olly Murs, Steve Winwood.

However, several celebrities refused the invitation of the British Royal Family. Adele, who was appointed a member of the Order of the British Empire and this one on the Queen's Birthday Honours List, refused the invitation. Elton John, a personal friend of Princess Diana, participated in William and Kate's wedding and Harry and Meghan's wedding. King Charles III and queen consort Camilla went to their wedding in 2005. However, due to scheduling problems, the artist does not mark his presence at this event.

Harry Styles had already refused the invitation to Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee in 2022. Now it was no different. The artist said he did not want to be present at the coronation ceremony and that he did not want to perform at the event. Scheduling problems will have dictated that Robbie Williams was not present at the ceremony. Despite this, his former bandmates Take That are confirmed.

The members of Spice Girls are already quite familiarised with the Royal Family, however they will not be present at the ceremony. Since their group presentation at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games, they have separated to this day.
