The MTV Europe Music Awards 2024 to Take Place in Manchester, U.K.

The highly anticipated MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) are confirmed to be held in Manchester, United Kingdom, this November. Set to mark its 30th anniversary, the prestigious event will take place at the Co-op Live venue on November 10.
In addition to being broadcasted on MTV across more than 150 countries, music enthusiasts can also catch the EMAs on Pluto TV and Paramount+.

Bruce Gillmer, president of music and chief content officer for music at Paramount+, expressed, “The MTV EMAs is one of the biggest global music celebrations, bringing together local and international artists to create iconic performances for fans around the world.” Emphasizing Manchester's vibrant music scene, Gillmer believes that the city, along with the cutting-edge Co-op Live venue, will ensure a stellar show in 2024.

The previous year’s EMA awards, which were initially set to be held in Paris, were canceled due to safety concerns arising from various incidents, including the Israel-Hamas conflict and subsequent security threats in France.

The 2022 EMAs were hosted in Dusseldorf, Germany, with renowned personalities Taika Waititi and Rita Ora leading the event. Notably, Taylor Swift emerged as the biggest winner of the night, clinching four awards.
