In fact, the most beautiful restaurant in the world is in a small European coastal country. We are talking about Portugal.
The most beautiful McDonald's chain restaurant in the world is in the second largest Portuguese city, Porto. The restaurant is located in the space that once belonged to the famous Imperial Café that opened in 1930. McDonald's kept almost all the old and historical structure of the Imperial Café when it took over the space.
The restaurant is located in Praça da Liberdade right in the center of the city of Porto. One of the great symbols of the restaurant is a giant bronze eagle that was carved by the Portuguese sculptor Henrique Moreira. The interior of the restaurant is all in the style of the Empire State Building, with ornamental friezes, crystal chandeliers and stained glass windows.
