Karim Benzema leaves Real Madrid and is confirmed in Saudi Arabia
A few hours after the farewell of the French international from Real Madrid, Al Ittihad, champion of Saudi Arabia, announced the hiring of Karim Benzema, who will be on the Saudi emblem for the next three seasons.
Golden Ball in 2022, Benzema left Real Madrid after 14 years playing at the Santiago Bernabéu and will receive a multimillionnaire salary of 300 million euros, that is, 100 million euros per year. In addition, the player will be the face of Saudi Arabia's candidacy for the 2030 World Cup, along with Greece and Egypt.
Benzema made his training at Lyon and in 2009 went to Real Madrid, where he scored 354 goals, made 165 assists in 648 games. Next season, the 35-year-old French international will be an opponent of Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr.
