The diet of Chris Martin from Coldplay
Singer Chris Martin of the band Coldplay and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow share one thing in common, the diet.
In an interview on the podcast of presenter Conan O'Brien the artist revealed his diet. "Being famous, you have the opportunity to eat with people you've grown up listening to, and I'm curious to know if you get advice from your idols," O'Brien said.
"Currently I no longer have dinner," replied the singer of Coldplay. “To eat at 4 p.m.,” he begins by revealing. "When I went to lunch with Bruce [Springsteen] I was already on a restricted diet, but I noticed that he was in better shape than me. When his wife told me that he only eats once a day, I realised that this had to be my next challenge," he said.
Confronted by the presenter what would have been the meal taken that day, the vocalist of Coldplay revealed between laughs: "Buffalo lob with steroid sauce".
The 46-year-old artist follows an intermittent fast and this helps him in his daily life: "I discovered that it helps me sing better and, in addition, I feel more grateful when I eat. I began to have a gratitude for life like I had never had before," he added.
“I'm going to be on the move for an hour. So, I either go for a walk or do Pilates, or one of the routines that my [personal trainer] Tracy Anderson gives me. And then I do dry brushing and enter the infrared sauna for 30 minutes," reveals the artist.
“Well, now I eat meat. But only as animals that would be able to kill. Would you be able to kill a fish? I probably wouldn't like it, but I know I could do it. So I eat fish. But I couldn't hunt a giraffe, for example," he explained.
