Working 4 days a week improved the productivity and health of workers in the UK

A study conducted in the United Kingdom concluded that most companies (91%) do not want to return to the week of 5 working days, thus preferring the week of 4 days of work. This study carried out between June and December 2022 included 2900 workers and 61 companies.

Only three companies decided to abandon this experience and two consider lower working hours. The other companies view the results very positively, with an increase in profits and lower levels of burnout.

The impact on workers' health was great. There have been significant improvements in reducing stress and fatigue. Another good news was the impact it had on each other's personal life. The men began to take care of the children more time, while the women say that the satisfaction between work and personal life has increased.

Companies' revenues increased by 35%, compared to the same period in which work was five days a week. The companies rated this experience with 8.5 points out of 10.
