Volvo EX90: This is the "Safest return ever"
Volvo is about to introduce its new vehicle to the world. The Swedish brand will present its new car as early as November 9.
It is called Volvo EX90 and is fully electric. This is an SUV. The brand seeks carbon neutrality by 2040.
The new Volvo EX90 will be equipped with a safety sensor that detects the driver's state of mind and the conditions of the world around him. This will be one of the most advanced vehicles today and will consist of eight cameras, sixteen ultrasonics and a LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensor.
This LiDAR system can reduce accidents with severity by up to 20% and provide global prevention up to 9%. A pawn can be detected by the system up to 250 meters or up to a tire up to 120 meters.
The EX90 will have the 'Driver 'Understanding System' system, a technology that will be responsible for detecting if the driver is in his best condition. The system has two chambers that are capable of detecting early signals from the driver, such as fatigue. The vehicle will issue signals to the driver, which if they are not answered, the new Volvo EX90 may stop the car on the edge of the road.
The vehicle will have a system that detects signs of life inside the car, including the luggage compartment. It can detect minimal signs such as breathing. Cases of forgotten babies or animals in the vehicles, the new Volvo EX90 will send a notification to the mobile phone to notify the driver.
