Athlete Ross Edgley is already preparing his next challenge

According to super adventurous athlete Ross Edgley, 'Operation Chonky' is already underway. Not having swam around the coast of Great Britain and after swimming for more than two days and nights on Loch Ness, the athlete prepares for another challenge. Whatever it is, 'Operation Chonky' is in progress.

"In fact, I like to be below 90 kg (198 pounds), since I move better in the water and it's more economical for most sports," he said. “‘But for 2023 we decided that it is not the best “vehicle” and frame for what we need! Hence the CHONKY mission," he reveals.

"I believe that muscle mass during resistance work [without load] is an advantage," the athlete had revealed to Men's Health magazine in 2019. "The muscle allowed me to store more glycogen. Thinner athletes look for gels when I'm still feeding on last night's pizza."

"If you train strength and endurance in the same session, you dilute the stimuli and therefore your ability to adapt," he said. If you want to have a high performance and super resistance, know that water is not your enemy.
